Product Support Technician:
Spheros North America is searching for a Product Support Technician at our newest location in Canton, MI. We are a subsidiary of Spheros GmbH, a worldwide leader in the production of HVAC systems, specializing in the design and manufacture of climate control for heavy duty transit buses. We are looking for a candidate to act as a lead technician, providing direct support and technical expertise to our primary customers throughout North America.
Responsibilities for this position include:
  • Product evaluation and troubleshooting at our customer’s facilities and over the telephone
  • Product training at our customer’s locations
  • Work closely with local Application Engineers and Technical Support personnel at our headquarters in Germany
  • Support product testing in environmental chamber
  • Support warranty process
This job requires:
  • Associates degree in electrical or mechanical engineering and 2-5 years of experience

A/C Product Applications Engineer:
Spheros is a leading worldwide HVAC manufacturer for bus. Our fast growing location in Canton,MI is searching for a Product Application Engineer to support A/C product.
The candidate will be required to provide bus OEMs and aftermarket customers in the USA and Canada product specification and ensure that the product design and installed accordingly. Design product application according to bus operators and OEM specifications. Working with bus OEMs to fully support the product, i.e. design, test and service. Provide technical support to end users, including product troubleshooting and training. Product testing in environmental chamber. Work with parent company engineering department on new products and new applications. Keep records of all product applications per company requirements.

This job requires:

Quality / Product Engineer:
Spheros is a leading worldwide HVAC manufacturer for buses. Our fast growing location in Canton, Michigan is searching for Quality/Product Engineer.
Quality /product Engineer position function:
- Develop Quality Engineering procedures and program work instructions in relation to quality function
- Development of all APQP documents based on local and parent company standards/procedures
- Participate in product/process FEMA’s
- Lead team in process flow and control plan development
- Lead PPAP process and maintaining all necessary documents
- Assists manufacturing in the training of the associates on Quality standards
- Control corrective action plan; definition, implementation and follow up
- Maintain customer’s quality concerns database
- Champion 8-D meetings
- Support prototypes build from Quality control aspect
- Assists other departments in response to Quality questions
- Support the selection of suppliers
- Suppliers audits
- Drive the product change process between SNA and other Spheros subsidiaries
- Support development projects in Germany and Brazil
Job qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree
- 3-5 years of experience in automotive quality
- Strong analytical and logical problem solving skills with ability to make decision
- Self-motivated and ability to work without the supervision
